*snoooooore* [May 17, 2008 @ 12:14am] shikanashi_kk Today started out... grand. Woke up at 5 AM because Kuya Rolly, mom, my little brother and I had to go to SPUQC to take the entrance exam. We weren't even ten minutes into the road when this truck hit the door on my side of the car. Imagine me half-asleep at the back looking out the window and realizing that "hey, that's weird, this truck's too close" and "shit, this truck's TOO CLOSE" but I only reacted two seconds later when the car was hit. .__.; Nothing serious, though. The car had a really small dent and the driver of the truck gave us his contact info so good luck with that. Still, freaked me out. Then saw a dog that got hit by some car crawling wildly and squeaking in the middle of the road in Sta. Mesa. ;______; By the time we got to QC and McDonald's for breakfast around 7 AM, I was still zoned out. My little brother and I took the exam around 8 AM, and sat there with lots of other students for three straight hours answering questions. Made me feel better. I'm comforted by written exams, stfu. D: *nerd* After that, slept in the car the whole way back to Parañaque. Got woken up by the rain wtf. T___T As in heavy rain. As in really heavy rain, the kind that actually got me scared. D: Damn you, Typhoon Cosme, you should've told me first before coming. D: But good thing we were in SM Sucat around that time to eat lunch, so byebye rain. Lastly, we went to my old school to ask for recommendations, before going home at around 3 PM. Was supposed to get my hair cut but I pretty much ran the day on two hours of sleep, so no chance for that. Speaking of sleep, this was supposed to be an emo post but I'm tired and my brain's not functioning well enough to be emo. |D I need some serious comfort food. Cheer me up, please? D: Sorry for the senseless post, I just needed to whine. XD; BUT. Will go to ATC tomorrow with rekonia, so that's something to look forward to. \:D/ Even if I am broke. WOE. so get running!

[May 16, 2008 @ 7:31pm] doujin_market [skinst_bomb] Just a note for you guys who might use this service called Mukunoki to order stuff off Yahoo!Japan. I ordered some Cards off there and... So after waiting over TWO MONTHS for these damn cards to arrive, I've decided I'd had enough and ask what was going on. Over the past few weeks I've exchanged numerous e-mails with the owner and I found out that the package had come back and he had resent it via airmail. Unregistered at that. I had asked for EMS because I didn't know what this guy was like. So who knows where my cards are or what happened?! I don't, and I'm rather angry about it. So I've sent off some paypal disputes and he escalated all four to claims, which means anything could happen. Luckily it was only about $40 give or take so I'm not out of pocket a huge amount should I lose. But its still $40 I could've used to purchase stuff off reliable sellers or whatever. (o‘∀‘o) I am never fond of warm sunny days because it means that the weather is hot. Hot weather = sweat. I've already canceled my plan to visit Tokyo Tokyo Megamall branch this Saturday. Aside from the fact that I'd rather eat at Komoro Soba at any given situation, the sole reason for my supposed to be visit already vanished for good. Yes, for good. Because my second most disliked "fashion sense" is the one that involves sided bangs and skater boards. Low waist pants, super baggy shirts and bling-blings comes first of course. I have no idea that HEAD is Atobe's preferred brand of tennis gear when I saw these... So I just thought, maybe it's destiny that it's the same brand as Atobe's. Though I've already read his complete profile before, I wasn't able to keep in memory every single detail. It's such a shame though, that I think there's no purple/lavender racket available as of the moment, and I could have been wishing too hard to find a pair of purple/lavender tennis shoes. For now, red would fit just perfectly ^__^ Rokkaku! Speed Racer is a nice movie. It's cool to see Rain in a Hollywood film and oh I so want to ride that Mach 5 car model at IMAX yesterday. そして心の火が消えないように･･･｡ [May 15, 2009 @ 8:08am] oritsu_luv Happiness is: sitting on the streetcar with a gorgeous warm breeze wafting in, drinking iced coffee and listening to Da Pump. We are having a heat wave (which I can't say without starting to sing the song.) and it is supposed to get up to 103. (According to J who just came in, it was 80 where he lives. Which is...somewhere in the East Bay, I think.) But right now it is gloriously warm!! This is my first day in the city without a coat this year! (I think.) But it's definitely the warmest it's ever been at 8 am!! Usually it's cold in the mornings, no matter how warm it gets later on. But not today! I can't even explain how excited this makes me! Also for like the first time ever, I am sitting at my desk with just a short-sleeved dress on, and I'm not cold at all!! I'm almost hot!! I hope it stays this way! I wish we had a heat wave every day!! I sometimes forget how much I love Da Pump. I pretty much love almost every song they've ever done, especially on their last three albums. I mean, 'Shippu Ranbu' is on my list of perfect albums. (which, in case anyone's interested, also includes Hikki's 'Deep River', TAI's 'Almost Here', and FOB's 'From Under the Cork Tree'.) They were doing some of the most creative things in the Japanese music industry today, what with their fusion of traditional Japanese musical elements and Western Pop. And just look at all the genres: not just j-pop and R&B, but dancehall, reggaeton, latin music, bassa nove, gospel, etc etc. And DP is especially good for summer. As soon as I stepped outside, my mind went to two places: shima-uta (aka traditional 'island song' folk song style artists like Kosuke Atari and Rimi Natsukawa) and DA PUMP. so get running!
